Came back after some time in the North to a very busy schedule. First job was rather a failure with Nicky's milk sodden laptop. The screen would not display properly as the milk had caused problems with connections - the cat should have been set to work much more quickly to lap it all up. Colin worked very hard to dismantle the screen to find the problem, and found all the cheese! Pity about the spare screw when we put it together! (actually we found where it went!!)
Other problems sorted out were:-
- Three AVG anti virus installations after uninstalling outdated software
- E-mail problems sorted out for two clients.
A problem which was also found was a computer that suddenly shut down and restarted during an installation process. Tests are currently in hand.
