This was that video files from a DVD camera took hours to upload onto the computer, although the files uploaded quickly onto the centre computer. The USB port was the obvious suspect - was it a 1.1 in disguise? Apparently not! Mike then discovered the true problem Kaspersky!! - it was scanning all the files before allowing them on the computer, this took time for large videro files. Once Mr. Kaspersky was disabled during the upload, things then worked as they should, with a quick upload.
